माझ्या गावच्या चुलत्यांची तब्येत ठीक नव्हती. त्यांना आम्ही गावावरुन खास उपचारासाठी डॉक्टर र्धेर्यधर जोशी यांच्याकडे आणले होते. डॉक्टर र्धेर्यधर जोशी यांनी सांगितले तुम्ही यांना डॉक्टर अनिरुद्ध जोशी यांच्याकडे न्या. परळगावात दोन बिल्डींगचे अंतर सोडून डॉ. अनिरुध्द जोशी यांचा दवाखाना होता. त्यावेळेस नुकतीच डॉक्टर अनिरुद्ध जोशी यांनी परळगावात प्रॅक्टिस सुरु केली होती. त्यानंतर आम्ही डॉक्टर अनिरुद्ध जोशी यांच्याकडे माझ्या चुलत्यांना घेऊन गेलो. त्यावेळेस डॉक्टर अनिरुद्ध जोशी म्हणाले तुम्ही धीर सोडू नका, हॉस्पिटलमध्ये नेण्याची गरज नाही, मी त्यांना बरे करीन. कोणत्याही प्रकाराचा जास्त खर्च न होऊ देता अक्षरशः एका आठवडयानंतर आमच्या चुलत्यांना डॉक्टरांनी बरे केले. त्यानंतर आम्ही साधी सर्दी देखील झाली तरी डॉक्टर अनिरुद्ध जोशी यांच्याकडे जायला लागलो.
१९९६ नंतर डॉक्टर अनिरूद्ध जोशी सांगायचे की गुरुवारी जरा लवकर या. मी सात वाजेपर्यंतच आहे. त्यानंतर आम्हाला कर्न्हेयांनी सांगितले की डॉक्टरांचे प्रवचन असते तुम्ही प्रवचनाला या. त्यावेळेस माझ्या आईला सदगुरु बापूंना बघण्याची फार इच्छा झाली होती. पण थोडया दिवसातच तिचे निधन झाल्यामुळे तिला बापूंना सदगुरुरुपात पाहायला मिळाले नाही. त्यानंतर वर्षभरात माझी आणि माझ्या पत्नीची नवनीतमध्ये भेट झाली. त्यावेळेस मी बापूंना सांगितले की बापू आईला तुम्हाला भेटण्याची फार इच्छा होती. बापू म्हणाले काही काळजी करू नको रामचंद्रा तुझे आई-बाबा दोघेही तुमच्या पाठीशी आहेत.
