China engineered mice with 'humanized lungs' to test infectiousness viruses

Vanity Fair magazine has released an investigative report which states that Chinese military researchers engineered mice with 'humanized lungs' to test the infectiousness of various viruses in 2019. Gene-editing technology was used for it.

The report also mentions that the investigators at the US National Security Council, researching the origins of the pandemic, have determined that the mice were created in the summer of 2019, just a few months prior to the pandemic. The US NSC considers it to be an essential piece of evidence supporting the theory that COVID-19 had leaked from a lab.

Another expose that the report mentions is about the cold response they got from other US agencies when they reached out to them with this information.

One more necessary disclosure in the report is about Dr. Shi Zhengli, the chief of the infamous Wuhan lab. Dr. Zhengli appeared to have tested at least two novel coronaviruses on humanized mice in the last three years.

With China's role in creating pandemic exposed by so many researches and organisations, it's time for nations, international bodies and even people at their levels to start considering punitive strategies.
