Idam Na Mamah - Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu explains the spiritual importance of doing away with ego

In this Hindi pravachan dated 01st January 2004, Sadguru Aniruddha explains the meaning of “Om Nirmamaayeya Namah”, one of the names in Lalitasahasranama describing Shree Lalita ji.

Through this discourse, Sadguru Bapu reveals to us the difference between the meaning of ‘Ownership’ (मेरापन) and ‘Belongingness’ (अपनापन), the two words which may appear synonymous at times. Referring to this difference as ‘ego’, Bapu explains the spiritual importance, and the feeling imbibed behind the words, ‘Idam Na Mamah’.

०१ जनवरी २००४ के अपने इस प्रवचन में सद्गुरु अनिरुद्ध ललितासहस्रनाम में से “ॐ निर्ममायै नमः” इस नाम के वैशिष्ट्य बता रहें हैं।

‘अपनापन’ और ‘मेरापन’ इन दो बहुत ही समान महसूस होनेवाले शब्दों के बीच का अंतर इस वीडियो में सद्गुरु बापू ने उजागर किया है। यह अंतर यानी ‘अहंभाव’ यह समझाते हुए बापू, “इदं न मम्” इन शब्दों का तथा भावना का आध्यात्मिक महत्त्व उजागर करते हैं।
