From the Editor's Desk

Hari Om Friend,

How time flies!!!! Yes indeed. We are now into the last month of the year 2016. Its been a year since we first started this Newsletter and this issue in fact marks the first anniversary of our Newsletter as well.

In the inaugural issue we had mentioned that the Newsletter was conceived to disseminate information about the Sanstha to all those who are interested to know more about the devotional services rendered by us. It was also our endeavor to give an insight into the recent and upcoming events of Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation.

I am glad to inform you that "Alpha to Omega" Newsletter has done just that and hence has been able to provide its readers with apt information about the Sanstha related activities.

Though we have been receiving feedback from the readers about the satisfactory content of the Newsletter, we would be happy to have more of your suggestions so as to reach out to more number of interested Shraddhavans with richer content in the future issues of the Newsletter.

I wish all the readers a very Happy New Year enveloped in goodness, well being, positivity and peace

- Samirsinh Dattopadhye

Bhartiya Bhasha Sangam

Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation

The Bhartiya Bhasha Sangam Project formed with an intention to inculcate a sense of brotherhood among Indians is meant to encourage the learning of at least one language other than one's mother tongue. Out of all streams of knowledge, the knowledge of language is considered supreme, which is why the Foundation has been carrying out a project of the study of various languages. Languages are means of communication; to understand and exchange thoughts, to bond and share with cultures. Therefore learning a language means reaching out and bonding with our fellow citizens. Just like the confluence of rivers, the languages will unite and pour in together the variety in us… and what will emerge is the oneness, the unity of humanity. This would therefore become the harbinger of national integration in its truest sense.

Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu Himself conducted classes to teach Marathi to bhaktas hailing from regions other than Maharashtra. The sessions continued for over three years. The students of these classes were also encouraged to learn a language other than their own mother tongue.

The volunteers of Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation themselves conducted teaching classes in multiple Indian languages and taught it to other Volunteers who were willing to learn.

Under the Bhartiya Bhasha Sangam Project a travel guide with help tips in Hindi, Marathi, English, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu for anyone touring the country has already been published. This guide gives equivalents in all the above languages and covers just about all that a person stranger to the land and to the local language would need to know to find his way around and ensure his safety and joy.
