” Self Health ” lecture by Dr. Aniruddha Joshi – 1st Anniversary

One year back, the day of 13th December was noted in my memory as an “EYE OPENER”. It was the day when Dr. Aniruddha Joshi (M.D. – Medicine, Mumbai University) delivered a lecture on ‘Self Health’, not as ‘Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu’ but in capacity of a doctor with over 25 years of medical practice and expertise; and having an in-depth knowledge of Ayurveda and Homeopathy guiding the community at large in very simple words. His patients, medical fraternity from various specializations and his Shraddhavan friends had gathered for this lecture in large numbers at the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.

The crowd was in rapt attention from the moment Dr. Aniruddha Joshi started till the very end of his lecture which began with worship of Goddess Aadimata Mahishasurmardini. The lecture was a complete eye opener for the complete pack of crowd who had gathered at the lecture venue.

Dr. Aniruddha Joshi’s lecture highlighted various common mistakes and misconceptions which affect our health in various degrees and how we can improve on them. He asked us to reflect on the very fact that the number of diseases and people affected by them in our society has risen very sharply as compared to the past. The rural-urban difference in disease occurrence has disappeared with industrialisation resulting in acute rise in pollution.
