हा प्रसंग हेमाडपंताच्या आयुष्याला वळण देणारा आहे. हेमाडपंतांनी साईनाथांना बघितलेलं ही नाही, फोटो ही पाहिलेला नाही. उलट काकासाहेब दिक्षीतांनी त्यांना सांगितल्यानंतरही शिर्डीला जायचा विचार हेमाडपंत सोडून देतात. कारण मनात प्रश्‍न उद्‍भवलेला असतो की ’सद्‍गुरूचा उपयोग काय?’ पण त्यानंतर नानासाहेब चांदोरकरांच्या विनंतीनंतर हेमाडपंत शिर्डीस जायला निघतात. हेमाडपंतांची शिर्डीला जाणारी गाडी सुटू शकते हे जाणून, तसेच साईनाथ त्यांच्या भक्ताचा म्हणजेच नानासाहेब चांदोरकरांचा शब्द राखण्यासाठी आणि सद्‍गुरुभक्ति मार्गावर येऊ इच्छिणार्‍यासाठी साईनाथ स्वत: यवनाच्या द्वारे मार्गदर्शन करतात. ही गोष्ट प्रत्येक श्रध्दावान भक्तिंना व श्रध्दावान होऊ इच्छीणार्‍यांसाठी मार्गदर्शक ठरू शकते.

English Translation:
The following incident had a significant impact on Hemandpant’s life and, in fact, gave it a new direction:
Hemadpant had never seen Sainath, or even His photograph for that matter. Inspite of Kakasaheb Dikshit’s insistence and Hemandpant’s promise to him of visiting Shirdi, Hemadpant continued to put off his visit to Shirdi, as his mind was still questioning the need and relevance of a Sadguru. However, on Nanasaheb Chandorkar’s request, Hemadpant decided to embark on his visit to Shirdi.
Sainath, knowing very well that Hemadpant would miss the train that would take him towards Shirdi and in order to keep His bhakta, Nanasaheb Chandorkar’s word and His concern and care for a bhakta who wanted to embark on the path of Sadguru bhakti, took it upon Himself to guide Hemadpant in the form of a Mohammedan gentleman. This story is like a beacon light for all Shraddhavaans, as also for those who are progressing on the path for becoming Shraddhavaans.
