As I am writing this post from Shri Harigurugram, the sweet chants of ‘Om Gam Ganapatayay Namah’ are softly ringing in my ears. Yesterday and the day before ‘The Maaghi Ganapati Janmotsav’ was celebrated. The Maaghi Ganapati Janmotsav is being celebrated since the year 2009. The celebrations are held on 2 days. The first day, entry to the function is by invitation only. Thereafter, on the next following Thursday, It is celebrated at Shri Harigurugram where all Shraddhavans can attend. Usually during the intervening period, the idols of Ashtavinayak are kept at the Link Apartments, where poojan is performed every day.
Last night the Aatmabal Programme 2013 came to an end. Words fail me in trying to describe how it was. At the moment, it is beyond any adjectives. All that I can say for myself and on behalf of all those who were present at Shri Harigurugram yesterday is Ambadnya.
No praise would be too high for our dear Nandai, who planned things to the last detail. Bringing together a group of Shraddhavan ladies, many of them elderly, and most of them shy and introverted, and transforming them into achievers and winners, in a matter of just six months, is in itself a great achievement. Every single item that was presented left an indelible mark on the mind. I can say with absolute certainty that there wasn’t a single eye that did not shed tears while watching the heart-rending performances put up.
Hari Om Dear Friends, Last Thursday, i.e. on January 31, 2013, after the Swasthi Kshema Samvaad for Shraddhavaans, who attend the Hindi Pravachan of Bapu, a special screening of the Sai Niwas documentary (dubbed version in Hindi) was held. Since the duration of the original documentary is more than 2 hours, a more concise version, with a duration of 45 minutes was screened. Many of us present, had already seen
We are for the most part so immersed, so engaged in our routines that we just do not get the time to even take note of the changes happening around us – be they changes in our professional field or even those in our immediate surroundings. We are not really aware and alert about circumstances around, but Bapu surely is; He is at all times aware of reality and alert

In His discourse last evening, Bapu introduced to the Shraddhavaan bhaktas, the concept of the ‘Swastikshema Sanvaadam‘ (Sanvaadam = dialogue or connection) – all for their well being. As part of it, the Shraddhavaan can enter into a dialogue with any member of the Chandika Kul. He may express the feelings in his mind, his thoughts, or may open up and say all that he wishes to, to this member he
ll Hari Om ll We have been seeing what has been recently happening on the Line of Control between India and Pakistan in Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistan violated the ceasefire between the two countries which was in-force since 2003. Pakistani Army regulars crossed the Line of Control and beheaded 2 Indian Army soldiers in the most inhumane and barbaric manner. Further to this the violation of ceasefire has continued from
During the Adhiveshan held on the day following Aniruddha Pournima 2012, Bapu had announced the names of 125 new centres who had been recognized as ‘Authorized Kendras’. The ceremony for distribution of Padukas viz. ‘Paduka Pradan Sohala‘ for these Centres was held yesterday at Shri Harigurugram. The ceremony commenced in the morning and Shraddhavans from various parts of Maharashtra and outside could be seen at the function. Such was the
In His discourse on Thursday (3rd January 2013) at Shree Harigurugram, Shree Aniruddha spoke about the incidents that sent waves of shock in the entire country and stirred up strong protest. Every thinking and sensitive Indian citizen was pained. Bapu offered a firm and comforting reassurance, a relief to all His Shraddhavaan friends. I am sharing with all, this very important and ‘reassuring’ part of the discourse in this post.
“The last three or four days, in fact the whole of last week, T.V. channels and the news papers have been reporting horrific instances of how the woman’s honour is violated in this democratic nation of India, how she is reduced to a pathetic state… and as you saw these reports, many of you were furious although you were actually not in any way related to her (to the victim)… I heard it, I saw it and I am proud of it. You felt rage, you felt anger, you clenched your fists; I was glad. However, I wish to say one thing to all the women present here. May Nature make the distinction of gender – of the man and the woman; may their bodies differ accordingly in structure and anatomy but their destinies do not differ based on gender. Moreover in today’s times even men become victims of rape due to a certain kind of human tendency.
Prapatti :- The video of the Shree Mangalchandika Prapatti Poojan was uploaded last year. A number of lady bhaktas found it very useful, especially for the poojan preparations and the arrangement. Drumsticks (Shevgyachya Shenga) are an essential part of the items required for the poojan. But it was observed that drumsticks were not easily available, not in most places and so Param Poojya Bapu allowed us to use Green Gram (Harbara).
